Turbulence

Turbulence posits the question ‘would it be possible to stay in a nationless space?’. Between immigration checkpoints of a home and destination country, it could be said that no ‘official’ state is in force. From London, I purchased the cheapest, earliest flight to any destination; where it landed, I would repeat the action for the next outbound flight. I stopped after exhausting £330, the price for a VISA to enter the UK. The work is presented as a set of twelve boarding passes which chart my movement across borders. I slept a total of one week between all the airports.
